We understand that not every business is the same, therefore we have designed two pricing models, with you in mind. Gaining access to rooms/desks can sometimes be difficult and having to disrupt your business for PAT Testing can be a pain.
At Southend PAT Testing, we offer an evening/weekend service, at NO EXTRA COST! We do not have a requirement to be VAT registered therefore all pricing is exclusive of VAT.
You will no doubt see some companies quoting less than a £1 per test, however, you do need to consider the level of service you will be receiving. From past experience, we can almost certainly guarantee they will not be completing the PAT test to a sufficient standard. To see what it is included in our tests, click here. Whilst competitors normally charge you two PAT tests for every one device (e.g. one for the IEC cable and one for the device), at Southend PAT Testing, we won’t! The engineer will of course PAT test both items, but we will only charge you for one. Many companies will slash their pricing, however you will often find the engineers putting stickers on appliances without a proper inspection/test. Whilst we understand PAT Testing isn’t difficult, it is extremely time consuming (if done correctly). It is you (the owner of a business/duty holder) who is responsible if an accident occurs, not your PAT Testing company.
Option #1 – Flat Rate Charge
We have a very clear, flat rate, pricing structure:
1 – 24 items^ = POA [Approx. 1 hours]
25 – 50 items^ = POA [Approx. 2 hours*]
51 – 75 items^ = POA [Approx. 3 hours*]
76 – 100 items^ = POA [Minimum of 3 hours*]
All items over 101, are charged on a per item basis.
*Dependent on desk access/room availability & no restrictions to appliances (out of hours).
^Appliance and power lead are classed as one item.
